Black Copper Marans

We bought some new chickens last spring that Ted just had to have. They are called Black Copper Marans and are rare in the US. These are not ours, but this is what they look like. We have 2 hens and 1 rooster. They lay the darkest chicken egg off all breeds. This week, we finally got our first eggs from them. The little creamy egg is from a banty.
