Baked Spaghetti Squash

1 whole spaghetti squash
1/2 cup water

1. Preheat oven to 375.

2. Cut squash in half lengthwise.  

3. Scoop out seeds with a spoon

4. Place squash halves in pan, cut side down. 

5. Pour 1/2 cup water into bottom of pan. 

6. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until squash is tender. 

7. Use a fork to rake the flesh back and forth, creating strands of squash like spaghetti. 

Servings: 4

Notes: Serve alone with salt, pepper and butter, or as a base for sauces or other dishes.
